We are so proud of our budding poets! The third annual Rancho Bernardo High School Poetry Showcase, with the theme “From Ordinary to Extraordinary,” was held on April 21, 2016 in front of a crowd in its own Performing Arts Center.  “Prizes were awarded to the first-, second- and third-place poems in English, Spanish, German and French. County Supervisor Dave Roberts presented a County of San Diego Proclamation commending RBHS Friends of the Library for their outstanding service, leadership and commitment, and welcoming them into the Live Well San Diego partnership. Local attorney Keith Greer underwrote the awards given to the winning poets. He was so impressed by everyone’s work that he decided to give all the students who had recited their poems $25 each”, reported the San Diego Union Tribune on May 12.
