Parents, teachers, and other guests responded enthusiastically to the students’ original poem presentations. Two published poets gave readings to inspire students to continue their poetry work. Viet Mai, a spoken word poet presented a poem in Slam Poetry style and Glenn Graves of Rancho Bernardo read from his recent publication..
